Super Falcons player banned for 3 matches for elbowing


The 20-year-old was hit with a three match ban for her elbow on Sam Kerr of Australia


Super Falcons player Ugo Njoku has been banned for three games for elbowing.
Njoku elbowed Sam Kerr of Australia during the 2-0 lost to Australia last week.
Though she was not given any card for the incident, a FIFA disciplinary committee announced the band after examining the video footage.
The 20-year-old will miss the crucial last Group game of the on-going FIFA Women's World Cup against USA
Super Falcons need at least a win to qualify for the next round
