World Cup: Super Eagles players to get $1,000 for each goal scored!



A businessman in Nigeria, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, has vowed to reward the Super Eagles with the sum of $1,000 for each goal they will score at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. 

Ejidike made this promise in a press conference while addressing the members of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (Swan) in Abuja.

He explained that he was excited that the Eagles' are appearing at the world stage for the fifth time, adding that going to Brazil as African champions will help Nigeria excel at the soccer fiesta.

He then charged Keshi and his wards to make Nigerians proud at the tournament. The Super Eagles are in group F where they will face Argentina,Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iran.

“What makes me happy is that we are going to Brazil as champions of Africa and I would be glad to reward each goal scored by the Eagles with the sum of $1,000."

“I am satisfied with Nigeria's provisional squad and I know those that will be selected for the final list would definitely soar in Brazil,” Ejidike said.
