At about 3pm on Tuesday September 23, 2014, there was a fire incident in the premises of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Headquarters at 524 Ikorodu Road, Maryland, Lagos.
The accredited diesel oil supplier of the Union came with supplies for the generator. In the process of transferring the oil into the Union's tank, the hose conveying the oil from their pumping machine to the Union's tank suddenly pulled off. The oil splashed on the exhaust of the pumping machine and it cut

fire.

Our security system was put into action. Immediately contacts were made with Fire Security Profiles in the neighborhood. Oando and Conoil filling stations responded swiftly. Others from Onigbongbo market and passersby joined to battle the fire before men of the Lagos State Fire Service came with superior equipment and jointly put the fire out. The fire outbreak was limited to generator,s house.
