Good News In OAU................... OAU Signs Lecturer-Swap Deal With Gambian University

A collaboration MoU between Nigeria's OAU and The Gambia's UTG has been signed




It's good news at last, away from the fees-hike crisis facing OAU.
The Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU), Ile-Ife, has signed a framework of understanding for the exchange of lecturers and other educational resources with The University of The Gambia, (UTG),  Sere Kunda.
Signed on Wednesday, during the visit of the Vice Chancellor of the UTG, Professor Muhammadou MO Kah's five-day visit to the OAU, the deal will last for 10 years.
According to a Star Africa report, strengthen their individual, institutional and collective academic programs and further develop important linkages, cooperation and friendship.
Student Pulse understands that the foundation for the MoU was born two years after an OAU delegation, led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Bamitale Omole, visited The Gambia.
In April 2014, OAU's Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, Professor Ayobami Salami, made another visit which let to the MoU between the two institutions.
