Beats by Dre announces D'Banj as its African ambassador.
Nigerian pop super star D'Banj is still the man of the hour. Eja Nla as he popularly calls himself has just inked a deal with Beats By Dr. Dre. According to a tweet from the official handle of the world's most popular earphones, D'Banj is now the African ambassador for the top brand. "Our boy @iamdbanj in his custom #StudioWireless. Welcome to #BeatsFam & congrats on 10 yrs in the game. #BeatsByDre" tweeted Beats By Dre. His signature headphones will be launched this December.
This Beats By Dr. Dre endorsement is the latest business venture from D'Banj who is known to be a savvy businessman. Beats By Dr. Dre was acquired by Apple on August 1, 2014 for $3 billion in a cash and stock deal, marking the largest acquisition in the company's history.
