Fake Female Soldier Arrested In Ondo

The woman told the journalists that she used the fake identity to gain favours

The police in Ondo have arrested a woman in the state for pretending to be an army officer.
Jemila Suleiman had been using the alias Angela Tonye Omieh to garner favour from public officers.
However, her game ended when she was apprehended dressed in full military uniform.
She said further that she had bought the uniform from the Army depot in Zaria, Kaduna but when interrogated, it was revealed that she had actually purchased them at the Kontagora market in Abule Egba, Lagos.
She said:
 “I [had] to go back to [this] again because that is where I see the money to taking care of my family. I travelled around with the uniform to get favor and goods in the country.”
The suspect told journalists that she had previously attempted to join the army but had failed.
